I am consistently blown away by clients’ strength and resilience and I love being able to help them see this even when they don’t feel it. Most peoples’ issues are very typical and a part of the “human condition” and when people start to realize that and the shame breaks away, it’s a beautiful thing to see people accept themselves for their authentic selves.
Fun fact: My top 3 idols in order: LeBron James, Martha Stewart, Brene Brown

I love that I now work with people of all backgrounds and ages. I love that I’ve moved more into helping others with their transitions through life instead of just transitions into end of life. I do still draw upon my background of grief but now that can also apply to grieving over a marriage, phase of life, career, or relationship. I still love helping people the same way I remember wanting to all those years ago at my friend’s kitchen table.

Fun fact—I’ve never changed my major. At 18, I knew this was it for me. Therapy aligns so naturally with who I am: empathetic, a great listener, completely nonjudgmental, and ridiculously consistent. I’ve worked in schools, private practice, and community mental health, always finding new ways to support people. No matter the setting, one thing stays the same—I genuinely love helping people navigate life.

I spend most of my free time with my energetic and sassy German Shepherd, Bella! I also enjoy spending time and relaxing with my husband, friends, and family.

In telehealth sessions, you may be visited by one of my three cats, my dog, or nine chickens (okay maybe not the chickens, but I’m always happy to share about them).
Outside of the office, I am the wife of a physician and the mom of 2 young girls who keep me both on my toes and sleep deprived. I enjoy hiking, puzzling, snuggling my cats, and coffee.
